Where all does Frank L. Blum work/How many offices does FLB have?
We pride ourselves on being a Triad-area contractor. With our roots in Winston-Salem, NC, we have been able to serve the Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point area (and surrounding communities) successfully. Working out of our Winston-Salem location, we are able to make decisions based on local interests and are able to ensure that we will always be there for our customers!

What does license #18 mean?
#18 represents Frank L. Blum’s NC General Contractor’s license. Blum currently holds the second lowest active license in the state of North Carolina. While we are very proud of our longevity and where we have been, celebrating our 80th anniversary in 2003, we are more excited about the future and where we will go!

What work does Frank L. Blum self-perform?
As a successful general contractor, Frank L. Blum is able to self-perform much of the work that goes on daily at each job site. FLB can self-perform the following:
Field supervision
Layout
Reinforcing steel placement
Formwork
Concrete sidewalk placement and minor slab pours
Masonry - stone, brick, block, pavers, and pre-cast
Minor welding and setting of hand rails
Rough and finished carpentry
Setting doors, frames, and windows and installing hardware
Installing specialties such as toilet partitions, accessories, etc.

With a mentality of “scrambling for every loose ball,” each Blum superintendent finishes each project as well as they start!
