Internship Program

Frank L. Blum Construction Company provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the commercial construction industry that will serve as the cornerstone for the rest of your professional career.

The goals of the Blum internship program are:

• to provide meaningful experiences in field work

• supervision and management

• allow use of skills learned in the classroom on the job

• provide opportunities to improve problem solving and communications skills

• assist in the transition from student life to professional life

Interns participate in training sessions throughout the summer to learn more about the operations of our business.  They also participate in team building and social events to build connectivity between interns as well as with our employees. Interns are assigned to projects in Asheville, the Triad, and the Research Triangle Park and the company provides housing to make the transition easier for our interns.
