High Point University Selects Blum Construction

High Point University recently selected Frank L. Blum Construction Company as the construction manager for the new School of Health Sciences and Pharmacy. The 216,000-square-foot building, designed by High Point-based Mercer Architecture and Winston-Salem-based Walter Robbs Architects, will house classrooms and lecture halls, study spaces, auditorium, computer lounge, offices, dining space, grand lobby and laboratories for biomechanics, neurology, musculoskeletal, gross anatomy, exercise physiology, and simulation.

The construction will begin in spring/summer 2015 and be completed by spring/summer 2017.
