Blum welcomes future residents for tours of Salemtowne Retirement Community

June 27, 2019

Blum Construction joined the staff of Salemtowne Retirement Community, Construction Practices, and CJMW Architecture to tour future residents through two new 75,000-square-foot independent living facilities. During the Red, White, and Brew event, depositors were split into four small groups and escorted throughout the first of four floors in one of the buildings under construction. Salemtowne staff project team members spent time with the depositors reviewing drawings, answering questions, and casting a vision for their new homes. "We are continually striving to build relationships with both the current residents in this community and the depositors of the buildings we are constructing," said Rob Boone, one of Blum’s Project Managers on the project. Each of the new independent living buildings are four floors consisting of 28 units over a partially subterranean parking garage. A landscaped courtyard between the buildings will create a communal gathering space for residents. Construction is slated for completion next summer.
