Description
Originally constructed in 1930 as part of the North Carolina School for the Deaf, Joiner Hall was fully renovated to support the NC School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) satellite campus in Morganton. This comprehensive renovation transformed the 19,350 SF, three-story historic structure into modern classroom, meeting, and art spaces for NCSSM students and faculty. While the original superstructure was preserved, the building was entirely rebuilt within—bringing a 1930s facility up to today’s standards for education and accessibility.
