Drew Hancock is a forty-plus-year veteran of the construction industry with more than thirty years of that time leading Frank L. Blum Construction Company. His current responsibilities with Blum include talent development and strategic direction. Drew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1979. He currently serves the community as a Vice Chair of the Wake Forest Center for Private Business and as a board member for Leadership Winston-Salem and the local BB&T Advisory Board. Drew's past community involvement includes serving the Winston-Salem Foundation as chairman, Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce as president, Salemtowne Retirement Community as chairman, and as a member of the board of Triad Stage, the Piedmont Triad International Airport Authority, and the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Utilities Commission. Drew and his wife, Kelley, live in Winston-Salem and have three grown children, Jonathan, Tess, and Emma.
