Description
The Amenities & Commons project enhanced all main amenities and common areas at Carolina Village. The first floor of the 12,000 SF addition includes a new kitchen and features Silos, a fast-casual, order-at-the-counter-and-have-a-seat restaurant, and The One-Legged Goose, a bar named after one of the community’s most popular residents, a goose who lost her leg to a snapping turtle many years ago. The second level includes employee lounges and offices. Additionally, the renovation revitalized 22,000 SF, which includes dining options of 74 Main, a traditional dining option with tableside service, Journeys, a destination dining experience in which technology allows the physical space to change to match the menu at any given time, and Peaberries, a coffee, specialty drinks, and small bites option. Other recreated amenities include the Fireplace Lounge, Village Hall, Chapel, Library, Movie Theater and Main Street, which is a primary corridor through the space that accesses the amenities.
