Forsyth Central Library

The 103,000-square-foot building, designed by Raleigh-based Ratio Architects and Steele Group Architects of Winston-Salem, is located at the corner of Spring and Fifth Streets in downtown Winston-Salem. The project included demolition of the 1950s building and a complete gut of the 4-story 1980s addition. Renovations to the 1980s building and the new 50,000-square-foot addition created a modern state-of-the-art facility.
