Description

The Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness is a transformative endeavor that created a unique and vibrant community space. The building’s atrium and central promenade is designed to emulate a bustling small town. The outdoor gathering space provides a welcoming atmosphere, and the Main Street Atrium is designed to emulate the charm of walkable roadway.

The Intergenerational Center brings various collaborating organizations under one roof to offer healthcare, intentional intergenerational interaction, and arts-based activities to the community at large. Within the center, the Williams Adult Day Center boasts a large Assembly Area with a café seating area, Spa Therapy Rooms, and a Salon. The facility also features dedicated spaces such as a Learning Kitchen, Fabric Arts Studio, Ceramic Arts Studio, and a Café. The Multipurpose Space, with a Raised Stage, contains a convertible seating area that transforms into Pickleball Courts. Additionally, the inclusion of healthcare facilities like the Novant Health Clinic and Atrium Health Clinic reflect a commitment to the well-being of the community.
