The Merschel Park project, nestled at the heart of Winston-Salem’s historic Pepper Building/Indigo Hotel, the future Hyatt Place, and the Kaleideum Children’s Museum, has left an indelible mark on the cityscape. The park, named in honor of the esteemed former Winston-Salem city council member, Wanda Merschel, has redefined Winston-Salem’s urban green spaces.
