751 West Fourth

Project Owner: Commercial Realty Advisors

Designer: ArchSTUDIO7 Walter Robbs Callahan & Pierce Steele Group Architects

Blum Construction completed 751 West Fourth, a contemporary office building at Fourth and Broad Streets in downtown Winston-Salem. The building’s eye-catching urban design adds a much-needed attractive cornerstone to an area that has lagged behind other downtown revitalization efforts. The building takes full advantage of the location, with a partially covered terrace on the fifth floor that offers a 360-degree view of the Winston-Salem skyline. Decking for the terrace is composed of an IPE raised pedestal paver system that resists wear and fading from weather exposure. In addition to the outdoor terrace, the fifth floor includes a large conference room and fitness room used by all tenants. 751 West Fourth’s tenants include the Winston-Salem Foundation, whose interior is a LEED-certified upfit that incorporates daylight harvesting light controls, occupancy sensors and all locally sourced materials. Also occupying the building are Atlantic Capital Advisors and Commercial Realty Advisors.
